Emma Collins
Ballet Teacher

Emma has been dancing from the age of four with Regina Rogers Ballet (now Galway Ballet Academy).  Emma’s talent as a ballet dancer became obvious from a young age and she was also noticed by Monica Loughman Ballet and was invited to join the company. Emma danced several roles in the ballet repertoire including some soloist roles.

 

Emma also performed with the Perm State Ballet of Russia in Romeo & Juliet when they performed at the Bord Gais Theatre in Dublin.

 

Emma is an established and valued member of the teaching staff for over 12 years.  Her teaching role has allowed her to teach all abilities and age groups. Emma also prepares students for competitions and exams.

 

Emma is a member of the Association of Russian Ballet Theatre and Arts and continues to develop her teaching skills through Continuous Professional Development with ARBTA.  Emma also holds the PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) Teacher qualification and IDTA Musical Theatre – Gold Bar achievement.
